We believe in keeping schools, businesses, and communities safe. One way of doing this is testing kids/staff regularly/weekly. According to many studies, kids are the biggest carriers since most of them are asymptomatic.* SOURCE -( https://www.the-scientist.com/news-opinion/children-often-carry-more-coronavirus-than-adults-study-67785 ) Now that the schools are reopened and kids are back in the classrooms, they encounter other students not knowing where each kid has been and can transfer the virus easily. The thing is that once a student is exposed, they can now take the virus home to their siblings, parents, grandparents, and community where the family members may have underlying conditions.* SOURCE -( https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/science/science-briefs/transmission_k_12_schools.html )
We believe in getting in front of this by testing them weekly to catch any person that may encounter the virus to prohibit the exposure. We strive for accuracy with PCR Molecular testing (also known as mRNA testing) which is highly accurate opposed to Antigen (aka Rapid) tests and Antibody (blood tests * SOURCE – ( https://www.health.com/condition/infectious-diseases/coronavirus/covid-19-test-types ).
We have a formula that works and can adjust to any recommendations and requirements to accommodate each individual, school, or business. Now that the new variant, Delta is out, it’s potentially more deadly and contagious that the past variants, we need to be aware and protect our kids and communities. * SOURCE -(- https://www.who.int/emergencies/diseases/novel-coronavirus-2019/media-resources/science-in-5/episode-45—delta-variant)
Our partner Laboratories use the PCR (molecular) test which delivers results in 24 to 48 hours and is more sensitive than antigen rapid tests. The PCR test is the gold standard for testing COVID-19. A positive antigen rapid test is considered a confirmed case, however a negative antigen test will still need to be confirmed by the more sensitive PCR test. This is why our partners use the mRNA PCR saliva tests. Our method of PCR saliva testing is shown here.
Premier Choice Testing is proud to introduce ORASAL Collection Kit (Buccal/oral/ Cheek Swabs) for COVID Testing. ORASAL is a pain free and minimally invasive technique of sample collection which will make the experience of testing easier for both the collector as well as the patient/employee/client.
Premier Choice Testing prefers to use a do-it-yourself saliva/cheek swab method of the molecular test (PCR) for its safety, accuracy and to practice a less invasive and abrasive method of collecting specimens. This is also less intrusive than collecting saliva, blood, or urine. Please contact us if you have any questions or for any testing needs.
Once the Lab has the samples, your results will be delivered within 24-48 hours.
